The EastEnders pub is the epitome of a flat-roofed estate boozer, with it having a flat roof and it being in a housing estate.

The High Street West boozer has been closed for a number of years and was earmarked to become student accommodation. 

Those plans have since fallen through and the new owners hope to turn it into a pub and restaurant. Hopefully, they can succeed in an area that has since its fair share of pub and restaurant fail
