The Old Novas Restaurant on High Bridge which I had never been to or even noticed, and didn’t know existed until some LinkedIn wanker was humble bragging about selling the building,  has closed and the property has been sold. The new owners will be turning it into an American style sports bar, called Hen and Hops.

They promise to offer a selection of craft beer and cider to complement the booze selection and they are going to focus on Chicken wings and hot sauce.

So if you want to have your bake burnt off while eating gristly meat, this is the place for you.

As mention previously, I miss the 90’s American diner theme bars (yeah I know odd right?) and I was quite excited when Louis Liquor saloon opened.

Of course, it only lasted three months, but it was canny enough.
