Belfast CAMRA have made the difficult decision to cancel this years beer festival.
They cite the increased cost of the Ulster hall, and they have been unable to find a suitable replacement in time.
CAMRA NI are on the lookout for a new venue (of course Belfast is lacking a medium sized venue because they have all been turned into empty apartments) and hope to return in 2020.
This is disappointing News, the Belfast beer festival has been the “go to” event for the past 20 years. In its infancy it was a respite from the bland beers available in Belfast tied houses in recent years it has been a showcase for local brewers.
