The Maggy bank in north Shields is an excellent pub..the ale is top notch always has exceptionally high standard beers from local brewers and from further a field. The food is exceptionally good and you will find me down there on a sunday afternoon tucking into their leek pudding and a fine mordue ale. Has a number of theme nights incluing murder mystery and food of the worlds nights, also has bands and all manner of other events. well worth the visit.
fake report from Bear Bore, there’s been NO real ales on for 3 years, the kitchen has been closed for over 5 years..the place is falling down, the staff are underclass scum and there’s a major drugs problem on the premise..
